He sits about 10 feet to my right and he's still as cute as on this photo...
And he hasn't lost any hair yet, the bastard...

He's not as cute as you Michael!

Thanks Matt!
Neil told me that John Leatherbarrow shot these linetests, but I had never seen them. Here's the link for the final film. I hope Tim will not mind.

Otherwise I don't like linking to film clips (of the Thief in particular) in an effort to keep the blog in the realm of fair use (all in the service of animation history).

People at work pointed out the guy who did the voice for The Big Story, Frank Gorshin.
YouTube has a clip called Frank Gorshin pt2, where he does a Kirk Douglas impression.

That Gorshin clip is remarkable, thnx!
I'm not quite sure what you mean about linking to clips of the Thief-are you concerned about copyright infringements? Or is it an issue of giving credit to YouTube users? John K has proven the Blog format to be the perfect way of analysing animation through stills, text & clips. Perhaps line-tests would be permissable? Did Michael Sporn find success transferring the linetest he mentioned of the Princess?

They are trying to figure out how to get Tissa David's old Lyon-Lamb tapes transferred. I hope that works out and that Michael will post them on his blog.
