Roy's birthday

Roy Naisbitt is 80 years old today. Here is a drawing he gave me when he showed me his collection of drawings in his home. He has the original artwork for his opening pan of Christmas Carol for example and lots of other things that should be in a museum. The drawing size is 25x12".

Happy Birtday Roy! You are awesome.

Cool, I share a birthday with this great man. I'm honoured (I was 45 this year, so I've a way to go yet before achieving his score!)

Holger,
This may seem a bit off-topic but it relates to Miramax, who owns the rights to the original Thief workprint:http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainmentnewsbuzz/2010/05/gores-now-in-hunt-for-miramax-and-starz-media.html

Disney is selling it to a company called The Gores Group, a company that is run by two billionaires named Alec and Tom Gores:http://www.gores.com/index.shtml

The Miramax library doesn't come with a distributor since Disney shut its NY and LA offices down, so they may have to seek a distributor if they want to restore the Thief. But the Gores brothers also want to Starz Media, so it could get distributed in theatres by Overture Films and on DVD by Anchor Bay.
